Greene County ISU Extension has seen a recent change in one of its leadership positions.

Lori Mannel is the new Extension Coordinator for Greene County.  She is born and raised in Jefferson.  She has over 20 years of community development experience.  She is the former Greene County Chamber Director and has worked for the last 12-years as the state’s director for the American Cancer Society.

She talks about having the opportunity with ISU Extension and Outreach to contribute more on a local basis.

“There’s a lot of amazing volunteers.  I really feel comfortable working with them, it’s just an honor to be associated with so many dedicated individuals to further develop Greene County.”

She officially took over as the coordinator on Tuesday, November 18th.

Mannel is married with three daughters.
