Those who are looking to take advantage of the Dallas County Sheriff’s Benevolent Association’s annual Shop with a Cop program for either themselves or someone they know, need to act quick.

Applications for the 19th year of the program are due by Friday.  Shop with a Cop pairs approximately 50 local children up with a deputy of police officer who helps them pick out Christmas presents for their family members and themselves.

The nomination form asks for contact information of the parents, how many kids the family has and what ages, along with questions like why the nominated family needs help this holiday season.
