Anyone wanting services at Greene County Medical Center in Jefferson must call 386-2114.

Officials say a phone cable was cut earlier today and so patients needing services by phone cannot dial the extensions individually.  They want all calls to be directed to 386-2114 and the recipients will get you to the department or service that you need.

Medical Center officials add that Jefferson Telecom is working on repairing the issue but it will most likely be completely repaired by tomorrow.
