A local youth group is giving the community a chance to not have to cook on Thanksgiving Eve and support a good cause at the same time.

As Detective Sergeant Jerome Hill with the Perry Police Department explains, this is the last Shop with a Cop fundraiser of the year, put on by the E.D.G.E. youth group from the First Christian Church.

The Before the Turkey Soup Supper takes place tonight starting at 5pm at the First Christian Church in Perry.  Various soups, sides, drinks and desserts will be available to enjoy.
