There’s still time to bid on silent auction items before the Jefferson Kiwanis Club breakfast fundraiser this weekend.

Organizer David Jaskey says the auction items are in the south rotunda of the Greene County Courthouse for the rest of the week for people to bid on.  Items include different kinds of services, game tickets, gift baskets and more.  This is the second time they’ve included a service auction with their 42nd Annual Pancake Breakfast.  Last year’s auction brought in over $3,700.

This Saturday, the pancake breakfast will be from 6-11am which includes all-you-can-eat pancakes with toppings, scrambled eggs, sausage links, biscuits and gravy and beverages served.  Tickets for the meal are $7 for adults and $2 for kids under the age of ten.

The bidding for the silent auction items will end at 11am on Saturday and the winners will be announced following the pancake breakfast.

Proceeds from both events will go back to service projects by the Kiwanis Club that will benefit the community.
