Last week we told you about the Perry Academic Cultural and Enrichment Services’ upcoming fundraiser, but that’s not the only event planned this week.

Thursday night, PACES invites everyone to their Lights On Afterschool Program.  Director Mary Hillman says they plan to highlight several things planned that evening including recognition, talent and information.

“We’ll have a big talent show with each one of the grade levels and it’s just some really awesome, fun stuff that we’ll be doing.  There will be a proclamation from our Mayor, Jay Pattee.  Special guests will be speaking and we really just want to honor our partners” says Hillman.

Those partners include the Dallas County Conservation Board, the Perry Public Library and Blank Children’s Hospital, all of which will be there to add to the program.

It starts at 5pm in the Perry Elementary multipurpose room.  We’ll have more details with Hillman on today’s Let’s Talk Dallas County during the 9am, noon and 5pm hours on AM 1310 KDLS.
