The Young Professionals of Perry are hosting their monthly social event next week and everyone is invited.

Co-chair Bob Wilson says the September program will feature La Poste owners Jenny Eklund and Mary Rose Nichols.

“La Poste used to be the old school administration building, it used to be the old post office.  They’re renovating it into kind of a cultural center, you can rent it for receptions et cetera.  We want them to share their story with us, figure out what they’re doing, what their vision is and maybe see how the young professionals can get involved or help their vision” says Wilson.

This month’s event is being moved up an hour after hearing feedback from community members.  It will start at 5:30pm at La Poste with a cash bar and social time.
