The Stuart Public Library invites everyone to its “Taste of Technology” night next week.

Library Director Sandy Pollard says anyone who wants to learn more about using their technology like smart phones, tablets or programs like facebook and skype can come and learn more about them.

She states that the library also provides Wilbur, the library’s downloadable book program and “Learning Express” which helps you with programs like microsoft word and excel.

Pollard talks about the importance of having free classes like these to help people with new technology.

“There’s so much technology out there and it changes so fast that people who haven’t grown up with technology may get a tablet and so they need some help and assistance with it.”

Pollard adds that they will have an open house prior to the start of the program at 5:30pm with “Taste of Technology” to begin at 6pm with chili provided on Monday, September 15th.

Call the library for more information at 523-2152.
