A deputy assisted the Lake City Police Department with locating a Greene County resident that made a purchase of food and fuel from the Sparky’s station in Lake City. The clerk made a mistake on the purchase and needed to contact the driver.

The animal control officer was not able to locate a reported dog running at large south of Jefferson at 250th Street and N Avenue.

The animal control officer spoke with a resident in the 600 block of Dudley Street in Churdan about keeping her dog on leash when walking the dog or allowing it to be outside on her property.

The animal control officer spoke with a Scranton Resident in the 600 block of State Street in Scranton about getting the proper license and insurance to keep his dog within the city limits.

The animal control officer spoke with a dog owner in the 900 block of Grant Street in Scranton about the permanent removal of his dog from the city.

A deputy was dispatched to the 300 block of Main Street in Grand Junction to check the report of youth entering a house through the basement entrance. It was determined that the children were residents of the house and had arrived home, but were locked out of the home, so they used the basement entrance.

The animal control officer was dispatched to the 1900 block of J Avenue for the report of horses on the roadway. The owner of the horses was advised and a family member placed the horses back into the pasture.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
