Hard to believe it is that time of year again, but back-to-school discussions are already beginning in communities around Guthrie County.

In Guthrie Center, the Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a coffee for school personnel on Wednesday, August 13th at 8am in the high school cafeteria to welcome the district’s ten new teachers to the community.

Chamber Secretary & Treasurer Becky Benton is asking area businesses to contribute an item for the new teacher welcome bags that will be prepared for the coffee event.

Contributions should be made before August 13.
