A deputy investigated a suspicious person in the 900 block of Maple Street in Scranton. The subject was not located.
A deputy investigated a driving complaint of a semi with no description driving recklessly on 220th Street.
A Jefferson Police Officer advised the Sheriff’s Office of an unoccupied vehicle that was off the roadway on 240th Street at I Avenue.
Two deputies were unable to locate a reported suspicious vehicle on C Avenue near the Dillavou Cemetery at 185th Street.
A deputy checked the report of a bicyclist being forced off the roadway by a semi-tractor trailer on N Avenue North of Jefferson. The trucking company will be advised of the incident.
A deputy was dispatched, but unable to locate an unknown E-911 caller that had hung up on dispatchers at the Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy was advised by the Department of Human Services that they will need his assistance at a future date.
A deputy was not able to locate a reported vehicle on J Avenue at 270th Street with its emergency flashers activated and several people standing by the car.
Wednesday, July 23rd
A deputy responded to an alarm activation at the Peoples Trust and Savings Bank in Scranton. The bank was found to be secure by the deputy.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
