Mass of the Christian Burial for Frances Cecelia Meiners, age 87, of Coon Rapids, Iowa will be celebrated at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, July 21, 2014 at Annunciation Catholic Church in Coon Rapids.

Surviving are her husband Albert H. Meiners of Coon Rapids of 64 years; two daughters: Doris Bass of Coon Rapids and Linda Young and her husband Les of Madrid, Iowa; three sons: Donald Meiners and his wife Joyce of Coon Rapids, Thomas Meiners of Coon Rapids, and Joseph Meiners and his wife Rhonda of Sigourney, Iowa; twelve grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; a sister Bernice Bluml of Carroll; a brother Edmund “Butch” Berger and his wife LaVonne of Lidderdale; two sisters-in-law: Catherine Wittrock and her husband Clarence of Carroll and Marcella Naberhaus and her husband Norbert of Carroll; two brothers-in-law: Bernard Meiners and his wife Marita of Coon Rapids and Anthony Meiners and his wife Coleen of Carroll; a sister-in-law Dorothy Berger of Lohrville; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends may call at the Johnson and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Coon Rapids after 3:30 P.M. on Sunday where there will be a Rosary at 4:00 P.M. and a Christian Wake Service at 7:00 P.M. by Annunciation Parish.  The casket will be moved to the church at 12:00 P.M. on Monday where visitation will resume until the time of service.
