A Celebration of Life service for Joel Higgins, age 32 of Ames and formerly of Grand Junction, will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday at the Marlon Street United Methodist Church in Boone. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery southwest of Grand Junction.

Friends may call at the Schroeder Memorial Chapel at 6th and Marshall in Boone Friday afternoon and evening from 4 pm to 8 pm where the family will be present from 6 pm to 8 pm. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:30 am until the service at Marion Street United Methodist Church.

In memory of Joel, memorials may be directed to the family.
