Yesterday’s fire destroys a vehicle in Jefferson.

Jefferson Police Captain Mark Clouse says 57 year-old Tamara Marks who works at Genesis Development Center reported a vehicle on fire at 107 Lincoln Place at 2:47pm on Sunday afternoon.

He states that the Jefferson Fire Department responded to the scene at 2:54pm and had the fire put out by 3:08pm.  No was suffered injuries in the incident.

Clouse comments that a cause hasn’t been determined yet and that the vehicle, a 1996 Chevrolet Cavalier that’s owned by 55 year-old Maryanne Sullivan of Scranton was reported as a total loss.
